Obituary of Elania Lopez

Elania Marie Lopez, age 33, of Schofield, Wisconsin, died December 30, 2013 at her residence. Elania was born in Stevens Point, WI on December 24, 1980 the daughter of Dennis and Jo Broton. She graduated from the cosmetology program at Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids in 2009. Elania owned and operated her own piercing business, Piercings R-Us in Wisconsin Rapids and later worked as a waitress for Tailgatez Bar and Grill in Schofield. She was very talented and passionate about many things in her life. She had a strong faith in God and was very understanding, forgiving and accepting of others. Elania loved her children and family and enjoyed spending time with them. Her creativity motivated her to always be doing something. She loved the outdoors and animals. Elaina was also an avid Packers, Brewers, and Jeff Gordon (NASCAR) fan. Survivors include her parents: Dennis and Jo Broton, Friendship, WI; three children: Trevor and Kayla Fisher and Katelyn Betts; one sister, Christy Lopez; one brother, Manuel Lopez Jr.; aunt and uncles: William and Jan Weisenbeck, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and Christopher and Jill Kollock, Bancroft, WI. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: John and Jean Judd. Family and friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Elania?s Life from 1:00-4:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids. The Celebration of Life will conclude with a service at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
