Obituary of Phyllis G. Meyers

Phyllis G. Meyers, age 88, of Junction City, passed away on July 19, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Rev. Olaf Andersen will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. Phyllis was born on December 31, 1927 to Fredrich and Gladys (Synder) Saeger Jr. in Wisconsin Rapids. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1945. Phyllis was united in marriage to Robert Meyers on March 8, 1946 in Wisconsin Rapids; he passed away on August 21, 1993. Phyllis was a long time employee of Ore-Ida as well as Del Monte Foods Co. Phyllis enjoyed playing BINGO and was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan. Phyllis is survived by her children: Donna Meyers, David Meyers and Ronald (Sandra) Meyers, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; siblings: Victor Saeger, Jeanette Mandelin and James Saeger; son-in-law Donald Dye and daughter-in-law Theresa Meyers as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, children: Susan Meyers, Sharon Dye, Jacqulyn Meyers, Gary Meyers, grandson Robert Dye and brother Norman Meyers.
