Obituary of Eleanor Brainard

Eleanor ?Elly? Brainard, age 33, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Ministry Saint Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield. Elly was born July 18, 1980 in Wisconsin Rapids to Charles and Mary (Lovse) Andersen. She married Robert ?Bobby? Brainard on February 5, 2004 in Wisconsin Rapids. Elly was a stay at home mom who was very devoted to her family and her children. Her interests included baking and making wines and liquors at home. She had an interest in medieval culture and was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. Elly is survived by her husband, Bobby and their children Aaron Brainard, Gabrial Spaulding, and William Brainard all of Wisconsin Rapids; her father, Charles Andersen of King, WI; her mother, Mary Andersen of Wisconsin Rapids; one brother, Frank Andersen of Wisconsin Rapids; two half-brothers: Nate Johnson of Holmen, WI and Tim Johnson of Roswell, GA; her father-in-law, Roger Brainard of Wisconsin Rapids; two sisters-in-law: Carlene Zeeman of Wisconsin Rapids and Josie and Jeff Engel of Pittsville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Family and friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Elly?s Life at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids from 4:00-7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. The Celebration of Life will conclude with a service at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Tuesday.
