Obituary of Catherine Mae Fay

Catherine "Cat" Mae (Riemer) Fay, 73, Wisconsin Rapids, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at her residence. Private family services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Forest Hill Mausoleum Rev. Mary Lou Plummer will officiate. Catherine was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on July 24, 1940 to Clarence and Velma (King) Riemer. Her marriages to Charles Teske and Duane Fay ended in divorce. Catherine was a dedicated adult foster care provider and Wal-Mart employee for over 20 years. She loved her family and spending time with them. Her greatest joys were shopping with her daughter and taking care of her beloved pets. Survivors include her children: Tim (Cyndi) Teske, Almond, WI; Terri Teske, Madison, WI; Todd (Cheryl) Teske, Stevens Point, WI; two brothers: Richard (Donna) Riemer, Spokane, WA; Bruce (Kathy) Riemer, Eden Prairie, MN; long term fosters: Ed and Don; and her long time companion: Dan. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Thomas Riemer and her mother, Velma Elizabeth Riemer. In lieu of flowers, donation in honor of Catherine can be designated to the South Wood County Humane Society. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
