Obituary of Lana L. Siegel

Lana L. Siegel, 60, Wisconsin Rapids, died Monday, January 20, 2014 at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Services were held on Friday, January 24th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Rev. John Steiner officiated. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. Lana was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on December 12, 1953 to John and Florence (Galganski) Little. She married Ronald Siegel on April 28, 1973 at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Lana began her working career at PreWay, then Northwest Fabrics, and finishing as a display merchandiser for a merchandising company. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially loving to spoil her grandchildren. In her spare time Lana enjoyed quilting, sewing, fishing and pontoon boating on the waters up north. Survivors include her husband, Ronald; one son: Shane (Andrea) Siegel, Janesville; one daughter: Sarah Siegel, Wisconsin Rapids; two grandchildren: Aidan and Addison; brothers-in-law: Dennis Waters, Wisconsin Rapids and Tim (Betsy) Siegel, Sheboygan; mother and father-in-law: Fred and Romona Siegel; sister-in-law: Jane (Norm) Olsen, Wisconsin Rapids; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sharon Waters and nephew, Brad Lee Meyers.
