Obituary of William Anthony Miroslaw

William "Bill" Miroslaw, 45, of Danbury WI (formerly of Rome, WI), passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 28, 2014. He proudly served his country in the Armed Forces and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was passionate about sports (especially the Bears, Cubs and the Blackhawks) and was a self-proclaimed "fountain of worthless knowledge". Friends and colleagues that had the opportunity to work with Bill were struck by his passion and work ethic applied to all that he did. Those that were close to him will remember him for his amazing sense of humor and infectious, unfaltering smile. Despite tremendous love for life, his greatest and most dearest treasure was his family. He was a great man and father who was determined to always be there for his family. He was loved by all, taken too soon, and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his cherished wife, Jennifer Miroslaw (nèe Gapen); sons Jacob (7), Colton (6), and Brayden (4); mother Alice Miroslaw; sister, Judi (Jim O'Brien); brothers Tom (Cindy), John (Gail), Steve, Edward (Joanna); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Casimir. The family suggest that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to EdVest for the college funds of Jacob, Colton, and Brayden and can be mailed to Jennifer Miroslaw at 7145 Fremsted Rd., Danbury, WI 54830. Services will be held Tuesday, February 4th, at 11:30 am at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, with a gathering of friends and family to follow in Rome, WI. Visitation hours will be from 4-6:30 pm on Monday, February 3rd, at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids and from 10:30 am until the time of services on Tuesday at the church. A celebration of life will occur near Danbury, WI, at a date/time to be announced.
