Obituary of Rhonda Mae Markee

Rhonda Mae Markee, 61, Wisconsin Rapids, died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Rhonda's Life from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 6th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Wisconsin Rapids. Rhonda was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on September 22, 1952 and raised by her loving parents, Alfred and Violet (Stebbins) Markee. She graduated from Agua Fria High Schol in Avondale, AZ in 1970. Rhonda worked as a bartender at Hotel Mead and Jammers Bar and Grill. She also was a cook at Renaissance Assisted Living Center. Rhonda had a deep love for her family and many friends, and animals, especially cats. She was an avid Packer fan, loved to cook, enjoyed attending music festivals, and visiting Door County. Survivors include her daughter: Trisha (Steve Christofferson) Morley, Friendship, WI; son: Joseph Nuttall, Port Edwards, WI; two grandchildren: Courtney and Chase Morley; and her three cats: Babies, Whiskers and Bootsy. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be designated to the South Wood County Humane Society.
