Obituary of Garrett Lee Banuelos
Garrett Lee Banuelos, age 53, of Escanaba, Michigan, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 17, 2014 at his residence.
Traditional Native American services will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, March 20th at the Barb Smith residence in Cranmoor. Roger Littlegeorge will officiate. Burial will be at White Cemetery in the town of Seneca. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon on Thursday at the Barb Smith residence.
Garrett was born March 15, 1961 in Stevens Point, WI to Jose and Emily (Johnson) Banuelos.
Garrett enjoyed time with family and loved his nieces and nephews. He liked to ride motorcycles, listen to music, and tinker with electronics.
Garrett is survived by four sisters: Darlyn Banuelos, Cedar Rapids, IA, Sandra Banuelos, Black River Falls, WI, Lisa Banuelos, Green Bay, WI, and Lynette Banuelos, Wisconsin Rapids; six children: Carrie Petonquot, Garrett Banuelos Jr., Garth Banuelos, Sierra Banuelos, Timothy Banuelos, and Brandon Banuelos; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Randall Banuelos, and son, Ian Banuelos.
