Obituary of Jeannine Mae Heiser

Jeannine Mae Heiser, a long time resident of Vesper (Town of Sigel), a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Ministry Saint Joseph Hospital in Marshfield, at the age of 84. Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 29th at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sigel. Rev. Douglas Schalow will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Town of Grand Rapids. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 28th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 12:00 noon until the time of services on Saturday at the church. Jeannine was born in Wood County, WI on May 21, 1929 to Paul and Mabel (Matthews) Kroll. She attended Lone Pine Grade School. Jeannine married Albert H. Heiser on May 15, 1948 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Town of Sigel, Wisconsin Rapids. The couple was blessed with almost 66 years of marriage. Jeannine worked faithfully on the family farm, giving her all to every task she could help with. Her favorite times were spent gardening and canning the fruits of her labor. She also worked for a number of years during the fall harvest at Jacob Searles Cranberry Marsh. Jeannine was a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church, serving in the Ladies Aid, as a Sunday school teacher, and singing in the choir. She was a gentle, kind, and caring lady with a keen sense of humor. Jeannine loved to cook and sew for her family and enjoyed making quilts for all family members. She was well known as the queen of patching and crossword puzzles, and was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. Jeannine is survived by her husband, Albert and their son: Ralph (Rebecca) Heiser of Baraboo; grandson: Jacob (Megan) Heiser and their children: Lucas and Caleb; and grandson: Adam (Suzanne) Heiser and their child Ashton. Their daughter: Kathleen (Russell) Anderson of Wisconsin Rapids; grandson Randy (Holly) Anderson; and their children: Zachary and Kaya; granddaughter: Jennifer Anderson and her children: Ariel and Malachi; granddaughter: Rhonda (John) Roelli; and their children: Marta, McKenna, and Adler; and grandson: Matthew (Jessica) Anderson who have a child due in July. Their son: Jeffery Heiser of Vesper. Their son: Paul (Pamela) Heiser of Green Bay; and grandchildren: Andrew, Karin, and Elana. Their daughter: Kristin (Ryan) Rugroden of Holmen; and step- grandchild: Andrew. She is further survived by sister-in-laws: Ethel Kroll, Maleeta Kroll, and Rachel Schroeder and brother-in-law, Charles Schroeder. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Harvey and William Kroll and sister, Violet Bartos. Memorials may be designated to St. John's Lutheran Church in Sigel and Lutheran Hour Ministries. The family extends a special thank you to the caring staff of Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield for their exceptional care and concern for Jeannine.
