Obituary of Larry Leonard Ladewig

Larry Leonard Ladewig Sr. 54, died Monday, April 7, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison, WI. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. on Wednesday, April 16th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Zion, IL. Larry was born in Waukegan, IL on May 16, 1959 to Curtiss and Gladys (Tower) Ladewig. He married Meta King on February 14, 1980 in Waukegan, IL. She died February 14, 1999. Larry was a handyman and maintained apartment buildings that he had owned. He was a very kind, outgoing, fun loving person who cared about others and was always willing to lend a helping hand. A few of Larry's favorite things to do were fishing, camping, karaoke, and visiting with friends. Survivors include his girlfriend Lisa Paxton; son: Larry (Rhonda) Ladewig Jr.; stepsons: Michael, Joe, and John Kernes; grandchildren: Cody Ladewig, Meta ladewig, Dustin Madison; brothers: Curtis (Cal) Ladewig, and Gary (Belinda) Ladewig; many extended family and friends.
