Obituary of Roger Howard Lamb

Roger Howard Lamb, age 81, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Wellington Place at Biron. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Pastor Mary Bosch will officiate. Burial will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net. Roger Howard Lamb was born November 25, 1934 in the City of Rose in Waushara County to Regal and Marjorie (Fitze) Lamb. He married Nancy Boyles on July 2, 1977 and they were blessed with 22 years of marriage, until her passing in 1999. Roger spent most of his formative years growing up on farms. It is here that he developed his hard working mentality. Roger graduated from Tri-County High School in Plainfield. He had a passion for woodworking. Roger could build, fix, and do anything. He was a jack of all trades and a master of all. Roger had a generous soul and would do anything for anybody. He was a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. He loved spending time with his family, especially camping with his four children, whom he raised on his own. He is survived by his children: Deborah (Douglas) Fawley, Roger "Howie" (Kelly) Lamb, Jr., Shelby (Jerry) Setterlund, Cindy (Jim) Costanzo, Alan (Bobi) Boyles, and Loretta Hoffman; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; parents, Regal and Marjorie Lamb; brother, Donald Lamb; sisters, Joyce Beggs and Loretta Lamb; and grandson, Lucas Lamb. Roger was a loving person and will be deeply missed.
