Obituary of Richard Blomberg
Richard Blomberg, age 54, of Port Edwards, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at his residence.
Richard was born November 24, 1959 in Port Edwards, WI to Clarence and Dorothy (Redmond) Blomberg.
He was employed by Mid-State Trucking. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Richard is survived by two daughters, Ashley and Jessica Blomberg of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren: Vincent, Angelica, and Emma; siblings: Merlin (Karen) Schooley of Vesper, Sandra (Jim) Schuerman of Wisconsin Rapids, Jo Jo Nelson of Vesper, Karen (John) Johnson of Minneapolis, and Linda (Clare) Hobbs of Rudolph; and sister-in-law Sharon (Don) Iverson of Wisconsin Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Bob, Tom, and Jimmy Schooley, and sister-in-law, Donna Schooley.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Rudolph. Rev. Rolando Onden will officiate. A celebration of Richard's life will be follow at Jo-Jo's Bar in Vesper.
