Obituary of Roy Earl Henke

Roy Earl Henke, age 64, passed away September 24, 2014 at Beloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit, WI. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M Monday, September 29, 2014 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Jason Reed will officiate. Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in the town of Sigel. Roy was born June 14, 1950 to Harold and Marion (Johnson) Henke in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. His previous marriages to Carol Hudlin and Traci Nesbit ended in divorce. Roy served in the Marines from 1969 until 1972. He then worked as a welder for a ship yard in California and later as a welder for Lear Corporation in Janesville, WI. Roy loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles and old cars. He was a hunter and enjoyed fishing. Roy is survived by: one son: Eric Henke (Spring Black) of Wheatland, Wyoming ; one daughter: Britani Henke of Stevens Point ,WI; one granddaughter : Amanda Henke of Missouri; two sisters: Pamela (Gary) Shaw and Lisa (Peter) Mancl of Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers: Kevin (Sue) Henke of Wisconsin Rapids and Kent (Lisa) Henke of Rudolph; one step-brother : Dale(Donna) Vilbaum of Wisconsin Rapids; one step-sister: Nadine Bride of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father August Knuth, and step-mother Lorraine Henke.
