Obituary of Lawrence Frank

Lawrence Richard Frank, age 90, of California, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Feather River Hospital in Paradise, California. Graveside service will be 2:30 P.M. Friday, October 17 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Lawrence was born in Wisconsin Rapids on March 29, 1924 to Paul and Matilda (Winger) Frank. Lawrence enjoyed stamp collecting, gold panning, and square dancing in his younger years. He worked for Paramount Pictures in California, as a prop and set director for over 43 years. Lawrence served his country as a U.S. Merchant Marine during WWII. Lawrence is survived by his brother: Herbert Frank of Waupaca; sister: Norma(Edwin) Hoffman of Nekoosa; nephew: Lance Hoffman of Nekoosa; cousin: Richard Frank. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Ethel Eberius. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is assisting the family.
