Obituary of Meredith Craig Skelton

Meredith Craig Skelton, age61, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the William S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital in Madison, WI. Private services will be held at a later date. Meredith was born on January 12,1953 to Lyle and Lavonne (Moss) Skelton in Wenatchee, WA. He served in the United States Navy. He worked in home construction for many years. Meredith was a avid hunter and fisherman. He liked to garden and collect rocks. Meredith was a good cook and liked to do canning. He liked to travel. Meredith was a family man who loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren and granddogs. He also enjoyed canoeing. Survivors include his daughters: Kristi (Mark) Rustad and Jenny (Scott) Oleson of Wisconsin Rapids; three sisters: Ann (Scott) Scoles of Minnesota, Christine(James)Mulligan of New Hampshire and Cheryl (Hunter)King of Nevada; two brothers: Michael (Lisa) Skelton of Oregon and Matt(Linnette)Gallagher of Oregon; aunt: Sharon (Jerry) Bertelson of Iowa; grandchildren: Mackenzie Olson ,Kiarra Skelton and Kalli Oleson; granddog: Jerry Lee, Missy, Sadie as well as many nieces and nephews.
