Obituary of Timothy J Rucinski

Timothy Rucinski, age 57, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital. Tim was born December 18, 1958 in Wisconsin Rapids to Pauline "Pudge" Rucinski. Tim met Lisa Simmet in high school and they married in 1977. This past July they celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. Tim was a lover of the outdoors and during his healthier years he loved spending his free time hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with the grandkids. Though the last 14 years were plagued with many health issues, Tim's inappropriate sense of humor kept us all laughing. He will be missed every day. Tim is survived by his wife Lisa; daughter Nicole (Brad) Rickaby and their children Alli and Bryce; twin sister Terri (Tom) Fox; brothers: Thomas (Michelle) Droste, Todd (Mel) Droste, and Eric Schroer; sisters: Trisha Neyens, Jana (Rob) Peters, Jolie (Scott) Bowden; sisters-in-law: Jenny (Bob) Grossbier, Zoe (Ted) Kieta, and Ginny Simmet; brother-in-law Dan (Yvonne) Simmet; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his special kitties Peanut and Daisy. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Schroer, father Gaylord Schroer, mother-in-law and father-in-law Bonnie and Joe Simmet, grandparents Harry and Sophie Rucinski, and brother-in-law Gary Simmet. There will be no funeral or service per Tim's request. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family. We would like to thank the staff at Aspirus Riverview Clinic for the great care and friendship they gave Tim during his many visits.
