Obituary of James Henry Hanneman
James Henry Hanneman Sr., age 76, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Riverview Hospital.
Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Wisconsin Rapids Masonic Lodge, 2321 2nd Avenue South, Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be held at the Masonic Lodge from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday. Burial will be at a later date at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jim was born on August 17, 1938 to Donald and Mildred (Maney) Hanneman in Wisconsin Rapids. He married his high school sweetheart Shirley Eaton on November 26, 1960 in Wisconsin Rapids; they were blessed with 54 years of marriage.
Jim served his country in the National Guard from 1958 to 1964. He was employed by Consolidated Papers Inc. Biron Division, C.W. Transport, H.O. Wolding and most recently as a dispatcher at Roehl Transport where he was employed until his retirement.
Jim was a very active member of the Wisconsin Rapids community who enjoyed volunteering and participating in various activities and organizations. Jim was a member of the Red Arrow Infantry 32nd Division and American Legion Post #485. He volunteered to work the polls for elections at Howe School.
Jim was proud to be a Freemason. He was raised a Master Mason at and was Past Master of Quincy Masonic Lodge #71, was a very active member and Past Master of the Wisconsin Rapids Masonic Lodge #128, a member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Eau Claire, and the Zor Shriners. Jim enjoyed driving the vans to the Shriners Hospitals for Children-Twin Cities for the Heart of Wisconsin Shrine Club.
Jim is survived by his wife Shirley, daughter Teresa (Mark) Dickey and their children: Trevor, Madelyn and Adrienne of Wisconsin Rapids; two sons: James Jr. (Chiemi) Hanneman of Herblay (Paris) France and their daughter April of Tokyo, Japan; and Donald (Emilia) Hanneman and their son Donald Jr. of Gilroy, CA; mother -in-law Marian Eaton, sister-in-law Trixie Livernash and brother-in-law Charles Livernash all of Wisconsin Rapids; and four very special nieces and nephews: Charles, Lori, John and Michelle. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Lawrence Hanneman, and his father-in-law Raymond Eaton.
Jim gave the gift of life by choosing to be an organ and tissue donor.
