During their 42 years of marriage they were blessed with three beautiful children. Kathi loved flowers and tending to her garden. She occasionally took the time to enjoy some chocolate and champagne. Kathi loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She took great care of her son Matthew after an airplane accident, went on to pass the exam for Certified Brain Injury Specialist, and was a past member of the Brain Injury Alliance of Wisconsin. Kathi was a very caring, encouraging and dedicated person to those who knew her, she always made time to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. She was known to celebrate any occasion just to get her family together. She made Christmas an exceptional family event. Her grandchildren always looked forward to spending time with grandma and making craft projects. Kathi loved a good shopping trip with the girls, but never came home with much for herself; she was always thinking of what others would like.
