Obituary of Johanna H. Gregory

Johanna Hannelore Gregory, age 85, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Monday morning, July 27, 2015 at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. A memorial visitation will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 31, 2015. Johanna was born November 30, 1929 in Germany, to Rudolph and Kunigunde Lindenmayer. She was married to Leland Gregory on August 31, 1953. Although the marriage ended in divorce, they were blessed with five children. She worked as a shoe department manager for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) for 35 years. Johanna is survived by her daughters: Linda Jost, Janet Weber, Cathy (George) Collar all of Wisconsin Rapids, and Diana (Marvin) Estreet of Janesville; grandchildren: Joachim Weber, Tobias (Kelsey) Collar, Lucas (Rachel) Collar, Michael (Christine) Jost, and Paige Estreet; five great-grandchildren; sister, Marianne Lindenmayer, and daughter-in-law, Christine Lindenmayer. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Robert Lindenmayer.
