I used to babysit for Britta when Nick and Jen would go out of town and my mom (Carolyn Jinsky) and I would also clean for them. I remember her as a wonderful woman with a big smile that was constantly on her face. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the family. Theresa (Jinsky) Schwabe

Our sympathy to the family of Jennifer. I was Jennifer's hairdresser for many years. Enjoyed doing her hair and visiting with her. May all the good memories help everyone to heal and find peace. Jim and Yvonne Cummings

My prayers and heartfelt sympathy go out to all of Jennifer's family. I went to grade school and high school with Jennifer. We sat next to each other in band for most of high school. She was such a joy to be around. I looked at the many pictures of her yesterday in our high school yearbook and remembered her fondly. She was, indeed, a very bright light in this world.

Jennifer like all of us was many things to many people, a friend, an auntie, a wife, but to me and all of Britta's friends she was a second mom. We were the rag tag bunch of punk kids you can imagine. She never made us feel that we were a bother and never once turned us away. We were welcome in the Brazeau house any time day or night. For some of us, this was our only safe haven from homes in turmoil.
One Christmas Day, I showed up at their house when they were about to open presents. Instead of sending me packing (which even the most tolerant parent would do), they asked me to stay and help them open gifts. I don't know if they realized that they were saving me, but they were. I can never repay her for her kindness, but I hope she knows how much it meant to me.
Thank you to the whole Brazeau family for putting up with an insufferable teenager who was a lost mess with the kindness and grace that I can only hope to show my daughter's friends one day. Your home literally saved my life at times and I can never thank you enough.

Aunt Jennifer <3
I loved her laugh - her humor. One of the many fond memories I have of her was staying at their house when my children were itty bitty. They were living in grandma's house then - I woke up to coffee and breakfast! Came downstairs to find aunt Jennifer cooking up a storm -giving me a hug. Visiting with her that morning while my kids crawled around the house that I once crawled around. Such a beautiful moment.
I will forever cherish that memory and that time with her.
One of your favorite nieces - :)
Cherie
