Obituary of Beverly J. Hazelwood

Beverly J. Hazelwood, 67, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2016. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Herman Taylor Funeral Home.. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at later date at Forest Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net Beverly was born August 24, 1949 in Wisconsin Rapids to Ernest and Violet (Newman) Karlstedt. She married Doug Hazelwood in May of 1990 at First Baptist Church. Beverly was an animal lover and especially loved horses and her dogs: Bella, Baka, Owen and Denny. She loved to go camping and fishing. Beverly could never pass up a cold mountain dew or barbeque potato chips. In her earlier years family Christmas was her favorite time of year. Beverly loved helping others. Beverly is survived by her husband: Doug; three children: Vance "Skip" Kealey of Nekoosa, WI, Tammie (Larry) Merriam of Bonduel, WI, Catina Hazelwood of Wisc. Rapids; seven grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Sherri Siddall (Karlstedt) of Wisc. Rapids, Michael (Lynn) Karlstedt of Mahtowa, MN and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest and Violet; three brothers: Darrell Newman, Gary Karlstedt and Mark Omernick and infant sister, Donna Newman.
