Obituary of Sandra Ann Olson

Sandra Ann Olson, age 66, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a eulogy starting at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Sandra was born August 16, 1949 in Chicago, IL to Frederick and Louise (Heidekrueger) Noodwang. She married Douglas Olson on September 16, 1969 in Wisconsin Rapids. Sandra worked as a CNA at the Wild Rose Manor for many years. Sandra loved crocheting, puzzle books, crime shows, Judge Judy and Elvis movies. She enjoyed taking walks outside to enjoy the fresh air. Sandra's greatest love was spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Holidays were a special time for her, Christmas being her favorite. Sandra is survived by her husband, Douglas; three children: Sandra-Ann M. Olson (Christopher Rogers), Daniel Olson, and Tina (Jesse) Noodwang; five grandchildren: Destinie Rogers (Erick Laspa), Precious Rogers (Troy Plawman), Sophie Noodwang, Leland Rogers and Crystal Noodwang; five great-grandchildren: Sakerra Stroik, Nala Dupee, Caydence Plawman, Ariel Plawman and Saydin Plawman; and one brother, Fred Noodwang. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and twin baby sons. The family would like to thank Ministry Home Care Hospice and their nurses, Dr. Kevin Ferreira, and a very special thank you to Dorothy Noodwang for her help and her caring. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be given to the family.
