Obituary of Bradley Henry Westfall
Bradley H. Westfall, age 85, formerly of Rudolph, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at King Veterans Home.
Services will be at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Marty Nolet will officiate. Burial, with military honors presented by American Legion Post 485 - Rudolph, will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 10:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
Bradley was born November 29, 1930 in Wisconsin Rapids, to Fred and Bertha (Brackmann) Westfall. He lived on the family farm in Rudolph and graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids. Bradley married Gloria Olson on August 28, 1960 at the United Methodist Church in Wisconsin Rapids, where he was a longtime member. They were blessed with 53 years of marriage, until her passing on New Year's Day in 2014.
He proudly served his country in the Army and was a long-time member of the American Legion Post 485 in Rudolph. Bradley was a strong advocate for Early Childhood Education. He was self-employed throughout his life.
Bradley is survived by his children: Bryn (Nici) Westfall of Sydney, Nebraska, and Tanja (Michael) Westfall-Grieter of Hatting, Austria. He is further survived by his sisters: Zelda Guzman and Marilyn Matthews, both of Wisconsin Rapids; brother-in-law, Lyle Jacobson of Wisconsin Rapids, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gloria, sister Naomi Jacobson, and brothers-in-law, Richard Guzman and Gerald Matthews.
