Obituary of Rhonda Jean Knapp
Rhonda Jean Knapp, age 51, of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, at Iola Living Assistance in Iola, WI.
Services will be held at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Stevens Point. Visitation will be Friday, September 21, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.
Rhonda was born on December 27, 1966 in Stevens Point to Jerome and Ione (Durand) Pitcher. She graduated from SPASH in 1985. She also graduated from Mid-State with CNA degree. She loved to spend time with family and friends. Especially spending time with her grandkids. She always tried to attend family gatherings when she could.
She worked at Nicolett Staffing as a home health nurse for 8 years and she loved that type of work. Everyone Rhonda worked with loved her and always stayed in touch with her. No matter where she went she always made friends. Rhonda always helped people when she could and never asked for anything thing in return. She would always take less just to make sure you had enough and never once complained about it. Rhonda loved animals. If she could, she would have adopted or taken in a lot of animals. She would also donate to a few charities when she had the money
Rhonda is survived by her daughters: Tina (Brandon) Cegielski of Wisconsin Rapids and Ashley Knapp of Indianapolis, Indiana; her sons: John Knapp of Plover and Jason (Brittnay) Knapp of Plover; and four grandkids; she is further survived by her sisters: Linda Haessly of Plover and Brenda (Ron) Smith of Wisconsin Rapids; and her brothers, David Pitcher of Stevens Point and Micheal Pitcher of Stevens Point. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and a brother-in- law.
