Obituary of Scott A. King
Scott “Scooter” King, 47, Rudolph, passed away unexpectedly at home from natural causes on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
He was born on March 11, 1971, to Wayne and Joan King and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. He also completed associate degrees in Electronics Technician and Computer Technician from Mid-State Technical College. Scott enjoyed a life of tinkering with electronics, flying radio controlled airplanes, building a 2 seater airplane with his father, maintaining a small home-built runway and spending time with his dog Kiara. He also shared his love of music by performing as the drummer with friends in a local rock band, and will be sorely missed.
Scott was currently employed at Worzalla Publishing for the past 19 years. Previous employment included, Simpson Electric, Lac du Flambeau and Color Check, Wisconsin Rapids.
Survivors include his parents Wayne and Joan King, Wisconsin Rapids; brothers, Arthur, Milwaukee; Gary (Debbie), Wisconsin Rapids; sister, Connie (Pete) Brandl, Wisconsin Rapids; nephews, Ryan (Gina) King, DePere, Chad Brandl, Alabama; Cory (Angie) Brandl, Holmen; Zachary King, Wisconsin Rapids; Brady and Dylan King, Chicago, IL; nieces, Theresa Brandl, Switzerland, Kristin (Nick) Weber, Madison, and Jennifer (Andrew) Dannehy, Blair; also 7 great-nephews and nieces.
Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Lori and brother, Kim, along with his beloved dog, Kiara.
A time for visitation will be held from 9 am - 11 am on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. A private funeral service will be held at a later time.
