Obituary of Kenneth Dankemeyer, Jr.

Kenneth “Slip” Dankemeyer, Jr., age 56, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018.  A celebration of his life will take place on Sunday, May 6, 2018, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Four Stools Short, located at 180 2nd Street North in Wisconsin Rapids.

Slip was born February 2, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI to Kenneth and Judith (Stanczyk) Dankemeyer, Sr., He graduated from Nekoosa High School as a member of the Class of 1980.  Slip was a truck driver for Viola and Waste Management for many years.  He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers.  Slip loved “hanging out” with friends.  He had a wonderful sense of humor.  Slip enjoyed playing darts, a good game of pool, watching NASCAR races, and throwing horseshoes.  He could be found singing karaoke if the moment was right.

He is survived by his siblings: Randy (Lori) Dankemeyer, Dawn (Wes) Konieczny, John “Otie” (Terry) Dankemeyer, and Jeff “Jevzy” Dankemeyer; and many extended relatives and friends.  Slip was preceded in death by his parents.  He is loved and will be deeply missed.
