Obituary of Earl H. Kiedrowski
Earl H. Kiedrowski, age 93, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Wisconsin Rapids.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Dr. Carlton Andersen will officiate. Burial will be at St. John Lutheran Parish Cemetery in the town of Grant. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the church. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, is honored to be serving the family.
Earl was born August 4, 1924 in Grand Rapids, WI to Frank and Lillian (Knoll) Kiedrowski. He graduated from Lincoln High School. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II onboard the USS Gosper. He married Marie Schanock on May 27, 1950 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.
Earl was employed as a painter at Consolidated Papers Inc. from June 1946 until 1987 and retired with 41 years of service.
Earl was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish; especially salmon fishing with his son Wayne on Lake Michigan. He was also an avid bird watcher. A talented musician, Earl played concertina in the Polka Dots Band and enjoyed singing in the St. Luke’s Choir. After going to the nursing home, Earl enjoyed participating in the many activities they had to offer, especially painting and drawing.
Earl is survived by his daughter, Pam (Roger) Denne’e of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren: Jerry (Kathy) Kiedrowski and their son, Jacob, Jessica Kiedrowski (fiancé Willie Thomason Jr.) and their children: Clara, Austin, Rylan, Elanna, and Willie III, David Kiedrowski (fiancée Amy Welter) and their son, Braydon, Sherri (Eric) Robinson and their children: Liley and Riley, Nathan Denne’e and his daughter, Lilley, and Rainie Denne’e (Ryan Piotrowski) and their son, Maxwell. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Marie, two sons: Wayne Kiedrowski and Gary Kiedrowski, and sister, Virginia Helke.
Earl’s family would like to thank the staff of Atrium Post Acute Care for all the years they cared for him and also Heartland Hospice for their compassionate end of life care.
