Obituary of Patricia M. Baker

Patricia M. Baker, 75, of Nekoosa, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 19, 1942, in Wisconsin Rapids, to Norman and Helen (Ostrum) Stone, and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. On Aug. 31, 1963, she was married to Charles Baker in Marshall, Illinois.

Patricia had worked at the Saratoga Grocery and she enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening and especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s events.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Baker, Sr. of Nekoosa; son, Chuck (Jan) Baker of Wisconsin Rapids; daughter, Amy (Keith) Frederickson of Lakeville, Minnesota; son, Brian Baker of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren, Derek, Haley, Nate, Jenna, Natalie, Alex, Cole, Chase, Lola and Sam; mother, Helen Thurber of Wisconsin Rapids; sister, Karen Nigh of Wisconsin Rapids; brother, Gary Stone of Wisconsin Rapids; and brother-in-law, John Swartout of Wisconsin Rapids.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Norman Stone; brother, Gene Stone; and sister, Joyce Swartout.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Jan Baker will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cremation will follow the service.
