Obituary of Paul Flieger

Paul Thomas Flieger, of Wisconsin Rapids, transitioned to a new state of existence on his 53rd birthday, November 16th, 2017. He was born in Milwaukee to James and Ruth Flieger. Paul lived most of his life in Wisconsin Rapids, but also attended college in Marshall, Minnesota, and Nashville, Tennessee. Paul was a dedicated Daily Tribune newspaper carrier for 20 years and worked part-time for the City of Wisconsin Rapids. He wrote beautiful songs and had a rare sense of humor. He was preceded in transitioning by his parents. He leaves behind his brother, David (Bethany); a niece; five nephews and their families. A sincere Thank You to all of his friends, neighbors, and folks on his paper route for your support over the years.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 22nd, at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, in Wisconsin Rapids, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
