Mark, “Sparky” as he was affectionately called by his siblings, was born April 3, 1991, in Wisconsin Rapids to Dr. Regis and Suzanne (Facks) Chamberlin. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids and attended Immanuel Lutheran School. Mark graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 2010. He furthered his education by attending Mid-State Technical College’s Central Service Technician Program.
As a boy, Mark helped with the family paper route delivering newspapers in the neighborhood. In recent months, he was actively pursuing work in the central supply field.
Mark was a plain, simple, to the point type of person. He had a very soft heart and big emotions. He enjoyed electronic gaming, and playing card games like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering. During a special family trip, west to Custer State Park, Mark developed a fondness for buffalo. Although somewhat of a picky eater, Mark loved anything chocolate. His favorite meal was homemade spaghetti. He had a love of filet mignon with chocolate for dessert. Mark had a special interest in science (especially anything involving radiation) and aliens or “The Walking Dead” tv series. He always had a deep love for the family pets. Although he was sometimes hard to connect with, Mark shared a special bond with his brother-in-law Bryan.
Mark is survived by his parents: Dr. Regis and Suzanne Chamberlin, Wisconsin Rapids; brother, Neil Chamberlin, Wisconsin Rapids; sisters: Renae (Jamie) Henning, Beaver Dam, WI, Sara Chamberlin, Appleton, WI, and Karen (Bryan) Ostdiek, Eugene, OR; maternal grandmother: Harriett Facks, Fort Wayne, IN; nephews: Ryan, Kyle and Nathan Henning; uncle, John (Kathy) Chamberlin; and aunts: Marie (Ron) Grant; Chris (Jerry) Fletcher, Tamara Harper, and Mary (Tony) Fancil.
