Obituary of Tamika Marcouex-Graves
Tamika Marcouex-Graves, age 20, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, shortly after the passing of her infant son, Devonte Damone Derrick Little, Jr.
Services for Tamika and Devonte will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Joshua Pegram will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Nekoosa, at a later date. Visitation will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the church. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Tamika was born September 13, 1996 in Wisconsin Rapids to Daron Graves and Denise Marcouex. She graduated from River Cities High School in 2014.
She relaxed while listening to music, especially R&B and rap. Tamika was a free-spirit. Recently, she was enjoying her new job as a personal care worker. Tamika was the protector of the family. She loved spending time with her children and celebrating birthdays. Tamika could always be found keeping up with her friends on Facebook.
Tamika is survived by her children: Taleigha and Demani; parents: Denise Marcouex and Daron Graves; brothers: Kinyari Marcouex, Mylek Crawford, and Davin Hetzel; grandparents: Susan Marcouex and Priscilla (Nicholas) Graves Dunlap; aunts: Chris Marcouex, Debra Vann, Secquita Graves, Tamica Graves, Ashley Armstrong, Sheron Lewis, and Tiffany Armstrong; uncles: Mark (Brenda) Marcouex, Jeffrey Armstrong, Jr., Quinton Graves, and Lawrence Graves; Tamika is further survived by many cousins and countless friends . She was preceded in death by her daughter, Taniyah; grandfathers: Dennis Marcouex and Jeffrey Armstrong; and her aunt, Tina Marcouex. Tamika and Devonte are loved and will be deeply missed.
