Obituary of Richard K. Wittrock

Richard Kenneth Wittrock, 71, Wisconsin Rapids, died June 25, 2014 at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 2nd at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Richard was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on August 10, 1942 to Kenneth and Juliet (Ghilani) Wittrock. He attended St. Paul's Elementary School and after graduating from Lincoln High School he enlisted in the Navy to serve his country. Richard worked at Witter Field and for the Legion many years caring for the baseball fields. Most recently he was employed by Rapp Moving Co. Survivors include his uncles: William (Elaine) Wittrock; Neil (Lois) Wittrock; half- sister: Donna Wittrock; step- sister: Mary Jean (Larry) Jung and many cousins.
