Obituary of Patricia Ann Haas

Patricia Ann Haas, age 81, of Vesper, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Ministry House of the Dove in Marshfield. Services will be at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vesper. Rev. Doug Schalow will officiate. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Friday at the church. Pat was born on February 23, 1933 in Wood County, WI to Charles and Elenore (Fitense) Truchinski. She married Marvin "Hans" Haas on July 8, 1950. The couple was blessed with three children: Glenn, Shirley, and Dennis "Puck". Pat was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Vesper. She was a loving mom, a supportive and fun "Pink Grandma", and a caring friend. She taught her family faith in God and compassion for others. Pat truly enjoyed being with family and friends and was always ready for a good game of cards. Pat is survived by two children: Glenn M. (Rhonda) Haas, Wausau and Shirley A. (Jerry C.) Brehm, Vesper; five grandchildren: Elizabeth (Paul) Larson, Colorado, Jerry G. (Jennifer) Brehm, Minnesota, Paul (Brooke) Haas, Wausau, Chad (Nikki) Haas, Minnesota, and Dustin (Jenna) Brehm, Vesper; four great-grandchildren: Brianna and Jerrod Brehm, Grant and Alexander Larson, and Reagan and William Haas. She is further survived by sisters Carol Giesler and Katie Kabaci and daughter-in-law, Deb Haas. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marvin, and son, Dennis.
