Obituary of Robert Carl Mann

Robert Carl Mann, age 60, town of Saratoga, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, August 11, 2014 at his residence. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. Stephen Steinmetz will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home. Bob was born September 26, 1953 in Wisconsin Rapids to Earl and Marjorie (Rowland) Mann Jr. He graduated from Lincoln High School and Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids with a degree in accounting. Bob worked in accounting at Pacific International, Ho-Chunk Casino, and Wisconsin Veterans Home at King. Bob was a caring, devoted, lifelong friend to many. He enjoyed hunting and shooting sports and was an avid collector. Bob also enjoyed doing things on the computer. Bob is survived by one brother, Roger (Neida) Mann of Lake Zurich, IL; two sisters: Sharon (Dean) Mc Clyman of Adams, WI and Marilyn (Keith) Zempel of Crossville, TN; and many nieces and nephews and loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Larry Deitcher. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the American Epilepsy Society.
