Obituary of David M Sullivan
David Michael Sullivan, age 44, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 18, 2014.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 22, 2014, at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Rolando Onden will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
David was born July 13, 1970, in Wisconsin Rapids to Michael and Melaney (Botcher) Sullivan. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1989. After graduation, David went to work for Basic American Foods. While working at Basic American Foods, David started his own business, Excel Lawn Care. The business grew to become his full time employment.
David had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved rifle and bow hunting as well as fishing. He liked watching racing, riding his motorcycle and shooting pool. He was a loyal Dallas Cowboy fan. He was a former Lincoln High School wrestler continued to be an avid fan and supporter of his team through countless seasons. He was a very proud business owner. David was a devoted father who loved to spend time with his children and his family. He had an ability to make friends easily and enjoyed helping others. David was active in the community and was a member of Wisconsin Rapids Sunrise Rotary and the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce.
David is survived by his parents, Michael and Melaney; three children: Braxton Lillie, Nichole Woiak, and Amanda (Jason) Sullivan; one stepson: Justin Westover; significant other: Jacqueline Henrichs; one sister: Molly (Evan) McGregor; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loyal customers. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Jack and Agnes Sullivan and maternal grandparents John and Hazel Botcher.
