Obituary of Dezirae Cara Funmaker

Dezirae Cara Funmaker, two months old, of Wisconsin Rapids, born July 7,2014 passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014. Traditional Services will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, September 18th at the Barb Smith residence, 6130 Hwy 54 W, Wisconsin Rapids. Clayton Winneshiek will officiate. Visitation will be 9:30 A.M. until time of services. Burial will be at White Cemetery. Dezirae was named after her Coka (grandpa) Desmond Mike. She was a very photogenic baby who loved the camera and was always happy. She was well loved by her mom along with the rest of her family. She will be deeply missed and loved by all. She is survived by her loving mother, Carleen Funmaker of Wisconsin Rapids and her father, Joseph Thomas of Memphis, TN; Grandparents: Barb Smith of Wisconsin Rapids, Elliot Funmaker of Prairie du Sac, WI, Ernestine Bady of Memphis, TN, and Leanne Smith of Nekoosa, WI; one half-brother, Demetrius Price of Memphis, TN; one half-sister, Nizarireh King of Memphis, TN; aunts: Lavonne Smith of Cedar Rapids, IA, Monica Funmaker of Memphis, TN, Lori Smith of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Hilary Johnson, Amanda Johnson and Samantha Smith all of Nekoosa, WI, Terrell Funmaker of Montana, and Jessica Funmaker of Marshalltown, IA; Tegas: Derris (Brianna) Funmaker of Lawrence, KS, Elliot Funmaker, Jr. of Marshalltown, IA, Isaiah Funmaker of Wisconsin Rapids, Joseph Smith of Vesper, and Todd Johnson of Nekoosa, WI; grandfathers: Sam Thundercloud of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Wayne Johnson of Nekoosa, WI, Kenneth D. Smith of Green Bay, WI, and Paul J Smith of Green Bay, WI; her Godfather, Joseph P. Smith of Vesper, WI and all of her many cousins. She was preceded in death by: her grandfather, Desmond Mike, great-grandparents: Paul E. Smith, Lucille Smith, Kenneth Funmaker Sr., and Ruby Funmaker; grandfather, Frank Thomas and grandmother, Lori Smith.
