Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Kille
Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Kille, age 92, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 3, 2014 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in the Town of Sherry.
Elizabeth Ann Kille was born on February 27, 1922 in Rockford, Iowa to William and Mame (Ritter) Hank. She married Robert Luecht on May 19, 1941 they were blessed with three children; he passed away on October 18, 1963. Betty married Jay Burt on July 1, 1967 he passed away on March 21, 1969. On September 30, 1988 she married Marcellus Kille he passed away on October 2, 1993.
Betty was a housewife until 1964 when she started working at Weyerhauser Inc until the time of her retirement. Betty was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids and a former member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in the town of Sherry, where she served with the Ladies Aid.
Betty was a member of the Sing Along and Whoopla Band that entertained many residents of various assisted living and nursing facilities. She loved to go to old time dances. She enjoyed playing cards her favorites were Donut and Sheepshead. Betty liked to play bingo and take casino trips. She always enjoyed visits from her friends and family. She especially enjoyed when her grandchildren and great- grandchildren would visit. Betty liked to garden and grow flowers.
She is survived by her son David (Diana) Luecht of Wisconsin Rapids; daughter Katherine (Leonard) Brandl of the Town of Sherry; four grandchildren: David (Cara) Luecht of Sun Prarie, WI, Robert (Heather) Luecht of Wisconsin Rapids , Tamie (Tim) Franks and Kay (Chad) Zygarlicke of Marshfield, WI; six great-grandchildren: Megan, Ian, Paige and Scout Luecht and Alyssa and Justin Franks; daughter in-law, Donna Ochsner of Plain, WI; numerous stepsons and stepdaughters as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands: Robert, Jay and Marcellus; son Robert Luecht Jr. ; sisters Ethel Weber and Ellen Tuxhorn ; one sister in-law and three brothers in-law.
