Obituary of Timothy J. Botcher
Timothy J Botcher, age 64, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away on Tuesday November 18, 2014 at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Pastor Vicki Natzke will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Tim was born on August 17, 1950 in Wisconsin Rapids to John and Hazel (Phillips) Botcher. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist - Episcopal Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Tim was a member of the Wood County Humane Society and the Wisconsin Labors Union.
Tim was an artist who enjoyed welding and creating sculptures. He attended many car and tractor shows. Tim was a car and motorcycle enthusiast who built his own Harley Davidson. He liked to watch NASCAR. He donated his spare time to walking dogs at the Humane Society. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and spoiling his beloved granddaughter Addie.
We are deeply saddened and heartbroken with the loss of Tim. He was a wonderful man who lived life to the fullest. He was an amazing grandfather and greatly loved by all he had met. He always saw the beauty in others that most would not. He will be greatly missed by all and never forgotten. It is a comfort to family to know that he has finally found the peace that he was always seeking.
Tim is survived by his daughter Ariel (Paul) O'Mara of Shorewood, WI, son Eric Botcher of SanFrancisco, CA, granddaughter Adelyn O'Mara ; three brothers: Dan (Shirley) Botcher, Randy (Lori) Botcher and John (Marilyn) Botcher; four sisters: Melaney (Mike) Sullivan, Cathy Gnewikow, Laurie (Dave) Perkins and Patti Mero, dear friend Pat Snyder, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Emil Botcher and David Botcher, sister, Cindy Botcher, nephew David Sullivan and brother in law Wally Gnewikow and sister in law Cindy Botcher.
A memorial will be established at a later date.
