Obituary of Pamela Kay Smith
Pamela Kay Smith, age 42, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Saturday evening, December 6, 2014 at Riverview Hospital.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.
Pamela was born February 27, 1972 in Rockford, Illinois to Walter and Shirley (Vittell) Kaszuba. She married George Smith, Jr., on September 29, 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were blessed with three children and fourteen years of marriage.
Pamela was a loving person, who always showed concern for others. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her children and cared about animals. Pamela enjoyed fishing, bowling, hanging out in the Dells, going to zoos, and various road trips. She found particular pleasure in family movie and snack nights at home, where the family would often play video games. Pamela loved holidays spent with her family and friends. She played softball as a youngster, and coached after her playing days were over. Her more recent hobbies included crafting, scrapbooking, and knitting.
Pamela is survived by her husband, George; children, Nakiya, Davin, and Hazel; parents, Walter and Shirley Kaszuba, of Wisconsin Rapids; siblings, David Kaszuba, of Wisconsin Rapids, Chuck (Shiela) Kaszuba and Cindy Kaszuba, of Arkansas; and nieces, Aleshia Kaszuba and Alexis Kaszuba. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
