Obituary of Bonnie Lou Grimm
Bonnie Lou Grimm, age 69, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, December 28th at St. John United Church of Christ, 8026 Church Road, Arpin. Pastor Don Adams will officiate. Burial will be at Mound Cemetery in Pittsville. Visitation will be held at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Sunday at the church.
Bonnie was born December 18, 1945 in Marshfield, WI to George and Mildred (Stanley) Koch. She graduated salutatorian of her class from Pittsville High School in 1964. On October 30, 1965, Bonnie was united in marriage to Roger Grimm.
Bonnie was employed by Nekoosa Edwards Paper Company, later Georgia Pacific and Domtar, as a clerical worker.
Bonnie loved spending time with family and friends at her cottage in Fountain City, WI. She loved fishing on the Mississippi River. She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to races and watching them on television. Her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. Bonnie's other passions included antiquing (especially antique dishes), gardening and raising pumpkins, traveling, playing cards, going to the casino, and wintering in Phoenix, AZ where she would watch the Brewers during spring training.
Family meant the world to Bonnie. She was a very special lady who never met a person who did not become a friend.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Roger; two children: Todd (Jodi) Grimm and Pam (Jerry Bydynkowski) Grimm; and two grandchildren, Kirstin and Taylor Grimm. She was preceded in death by her parents.
