Obituary of Anna A. Plantico

Anna Amelia Plantico, age 86, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Thursday morning, January 15, 2015 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. Mary Lou Plummer will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Anna was born July 28, 1928 in Waushara County, Wisconsin to Joseph and Mae (Blanchard) Stransky. She married Gilbert Plantico on January 8, 1972 at the Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church. Anna was a longtime member of the Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church. She enjoyed polka music and dancing. Anna is survived by her husband, Gilbert, and her sister, Mabel Miller (Dennis Polach) all of Wisconsin Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Morris and Darwin Stransky. Memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church.
