Mary was a wonderful person. Her smile & laugh always made you feel good. I remember for one of the kid's graduation parties( can't remember if it was Joey's or Katie's) when the goat ate the flowers that Mary just had planted. She laughed but she was upset with the goat.

I am still in shock that she isn't there laughing and bragging to me about her grandkids. Of course, I had to always brag back about mine. When we were in our teens, that's when I met this wonderful woman and we have stayed in touch over the years. Boy, could I tell you some really funny stories! I moved to Washington state and was always bugging her to come out here to visit. I can remember saying "I've been home now how many times? and now it's your turn to come out." She'd always give that little chuckle she had and say Yeah right! :) She helped my family out over time when she was living across from my Dad, too. We bugged each other each time the Packers played the Seahawks. I always told her didn't matter who won the game, I was always the winner. I truly feel like I have lost a sister. My heart, prayers and thoughts go out to you, Joe and Katie, and the rest of your family. I will forever miss her!

This is just so hard to believe. Back in school it was Mary, Cindy Eggebrecht and I who hung out together all the time and we couldn't go the weekend without talking to each other. Sad to say when we grew up and graduated from school life took us in different directions and we lost touch with each other. At these times we all say "if only", "could of" and even "should of" but life family and work and only 24 hours in a day (which as we get older need more). We have lost so many in our class of 76 and sad to say they will continue. But the one thing we all have is the ability to look back at our time in school and smile at the time we were able to share with the classmate who has left us was to soon knowing that they are at peace and their jounery is over. It is the rest of us and family to deal with the loss. So I guess I am taking the time to remember the fun times I have shared with Mary and go on. Because the Mary I knew in school would not want us to live in the past because we can not change anything just continue to go on. Rest in Peace Mary I am sure you are catching up on things with your parents.

Mary & I worked in different areas but, we connected at lunch on our outside breaks. She always was willing to chat with me, and her love for her family & grandchildren were her pride & joy during these brief weekly conversations. She was so real & honest. She was a person that made you feel welcomed & never judged anyone. I will miss her contagious smile & positive attitude. May Our Lord God bring peace to her loved ones.
