Obituary of Geraldine Gale Conery

Geraldine Gale Conery, age 76, of Nekoosa passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Wisconsin Rapids Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wisconsin Rapids. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Vistiation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 20th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Geraldine was born March 10, 1939 in Tomah, WI to William and Maude (Red Eagle) Littlesam Sr. She married William Conery on February 25, 1960 in South Milwaukee; they were blessed with 55 years of marriage. She was a licensed cosmetologist and attended classes for nursing and cake decorating. Geraldine was employed by Schreiber Cheese and in the Marketing Department for Rainbow Casino. Geraldine was a very loving and devoted person who was not afraid to work hard. She liked to travel and take road trips with her family. Geraldine loved spending time with her family and friends; she was always there to lend a hand whenever anyone needed her and always put them first. She enjoyed going to casinos and playing bingo. She also liked bowling, fishing, gardening and crafting. Geraldine is survived by her loving husband William, children: Terrance (Ann) Conery, Susan (Michael) Schultz and Sandra (Howard) Ryan; grandchildren: Ashley Hewett; step-grandchildren: Joseph, Jalena, Jaice, Kjrsten, Devlyn (Kayla) Ryan; great-grandchildren: Rebecca and Scarlet; sister, Amelia Poulton as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter Joyelyn Conery, her parents, and siblings: Loretta Arnold, Benora Darnell, and William Littlesam Jr.
