Obituary of Roger C. Karloske

Roger C. Karloske, age 84, of Arpin, passed away Thursday morning, March 26, 2015 at Bethel Nursing Home in Arpin. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday March 31, 2015 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the funeral home. Roger was born on March 15, 1931 in Wisconsin Rapids to Charles and Alma (Erdman) Karloske. He married Dorothy Zimmerman on August 8, 1954 in Wisconsin Rapids. After graduating High School, Roger served his country with the United States Marine Corps. Roger enjoyed trapping, hunting and fishing. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. He farmed for many years, and worked for Consolidated Papers as a shift supervisor for over 43 years; until his retirement in 1992. Roger is survived by wife: Dorothy and two sons: Stephen Karloske of Mahwah, NJ, and Charles (longtime partner Jackie Eastwood) of LaCrosse, WI. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Carol Ann and sister: Clarice (Jim) Pagel.
