Obituary of Marjorie L. Bubolz

Marjorie L. Bubolz, age 94, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 16, at First Congregational-United Church of Christ in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be at Mound Cemetery in Pittsville. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. on until the time of services at the church. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family. Marjorie was born January 30, 1921 in Coloma to Louis and Hazel (Hawkins) Woodman. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1939. Marjorie married Alvin Bubolz on June 6, 1942 in Pittsville. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2005. Marjorie loved to read. She was an active member of First Congregational Church and its Mayflower Circle. Marjorie is survived by two children: Debra (Michael) Lovelace of Nekoosa and Kent Bubolz (special friends Anne Bubolz and Teresa Smock) of Wisconsin Rapids; three grandsons: Patrick (Ana) Merchak of Stevens Point, Adam (Anne) Lovelace of Viroqua, and Kent Lovelace of LaCrosse; and one great-granddaughter, Adelene. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Robert Woodman and sister-in-law Mary Woodman.
