Obituary of Diane M. Oertel

Diane Marie Oertel, age 60, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 2, 2015 at Wisconsin Rapids Care Center with her loving husband by her side. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev.Timothy Wenger will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Friday. Diane was born January 27, 1955 in Hampton, Iowa to Wayne and Virginia (McKinney) Bielefeld. She was married to Jerry Oertel on March 30, 1972 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vesper, WI; they were blessed with 43 years of marriage. She was employed by Corenso for many years. Diane is survived by her husband Jerry; children: Jerry (Melanie) Oertel, Barry (Sandy) Oertel, and Sherri (Robert) Luedtke; grandchildren: Maci Luedtke, Korey Oertel, Nicholas Oertel, Timothy Oertel and Liberty Wirtz; brothers: Roger Bielefeld and Ronald Bielefeld, and sister, Linda Thomas.
