Obituary of Julia Jennie Knoll

Julia Jennie Knoll, age 95, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Wisconsin Rapids Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Faith Baptist Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Stephen Steinmetz will officiate. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday at Faith Baptist Church and again from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the church. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family. Julia was born on August 30, 1919 to Wilbur and Hulda (Egger) Johnson in White, South Dakota. She married August Knoll on June 3, 1942 in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The couple was blessed with 68 years of marriage. August passed away on October 16, 2010. Julia was a homemaker. Julia is survived by her four children: Ernie (Sharon) Knoll, Carol (Dale) Brooks, Sharon (Avid) Cumberland and Linda (Michael) Potter; 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby (Everett) Mann and brother John (Lorrine) Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband August, son James, brother Daniel Johnson and sisters Rena Johnson and Wilma Johnson.
