Obituary of Earl W. Christian

Earl W. Christian, age 78, of Nekoosa, WI died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in the Town of Saratoga. Rev. Paul Tullberg will officiate. The family will greet relatives and friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services on Wednesday at the church. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is assisting the family. Earl was born May 21, 1936 in Hartford, WI to Reinhardt and Viola (Dummer) Christian. He worked as head custodian for the Whitnall School District until his retirement. Earl was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He enjoyed his dogs and spending time outdoors. Earl is survived by two sons: Tom (Shelli) Christian of Oswego, IL and Dave Christian of Milwaukee; grandchildren: Shawn, Paul and Mackenzie Christian; one brother, Joe (Toni) Christian; two sisters: Sally Kling and Joanne (Teddy) Gorgan; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Grimm.
