Obituary of Michael Ray Brock

Michael Ray Brock, age 29, of Vesper, WI passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 as a result of an accident. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Timothy Ritter will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Vesper, WI. Mike was born March 8, 1986 in Marshfield, WI to Wayne and Virginia (Grossman) Brock. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 2004 and from Mid-State Technical College as a Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technician in 2006. He was employed by Dorshorst Trucking in Auburndale. Mike was always busy doing something, whether it was spending time down at the shop, working the fields with his dad and brother or hunting and fishing. He loved to have a good time, usually with an Old Mil in his hand, and could brighten any room with his dance moves and unforgettable laugh. His nieces and nephews adored him and will cherish the many memories they created. Mike had a huge heart and was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be forever missed. Mike is survived by his parents, Wayne and Virginia Brock; brother, Eric (Stacy) Brock; sisters: Sara (Matt) Lonsdorf, Angie (Matt) Susa, Melissa Brock, and Stacy Brock; nephews: Brian Timm, Caleb Timm, Aiden Lonsdorf and Cooper Susa; nieces: Paige Brock, Reese Brock, Alexis Lonsdorf and Madalyn Susa; and his grandmother, Grace Brock. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ray Brock; and his maternal grandparents, Mildred and Jacob Grossman.
