Hello Vicky and Matthew,
Vicky, we worked together on a gifted and talented committee many years ago. I often would bump into you at the library or at a coffee shop through the years and I was always happy to have a great conversation with you. The bumping into has been less as I have mostly not been in the area. I am saddened to know of your loss. My sympathies to you and Matthew.

Vicky and Matthew,
My deepest heart felt sympathy goes out to you both. It was an honor to have served with Carl on the Board of Incourage. I will remember his humble and quiet manner of speaking. He always made me smile whenever he rode his booming motorcycle to the Board meetings. He was a man of great character and will truly be missed.
With greatest respect,
Guadalupe Ancel

Dear Vicky and Matthew,
My wife Sandy and I never got to meet, much less know Carl. From everything we have heard (especially from sister Lois Lundemo) or read he was a fine gentleman. I knew his father Lloyd better and Lloyd was a role model for me. He and his brother Tom inspired me to go on for my MBA. I also know that he traveled with my sister Lois to my cousin's funeral in MA a few years ago. We also get to see Carl's sister Laurie about once a year in Minneapolis and hope to see her again this summer.
With love and prayers,
Sandy and Roland Ley

Breathe Easy
Seasons measured, one thousand miles apace,
Rides measured, apace.
Conversation measured: only the first.
Pedals turned, apace.
Wheels turned, life passed, life changed.
Seasons changed, wheels turned.
Wheels,
Riders,
Seasons, changed: apace.
Save two. Riders came and went.
Save two: health, marriages, careers.
Save two, apace.
Last ride, unmeasured.
Last ride, unchanged.
Last ride: at your pace.
